4th & 5th Grade Band
Students in the band program attend weekly 30 minute lessons and one 45 minute full band rehearsal. Berlin Public Schools is committed to keeping students safe in music. Students in band are sitting 6 feet apart, wearing masks when not playing, and have bell covers on their instruments. As of right now, concerts are ON! More information and details will be forthcoming based on the state guidelines for school events in January.

Concert Attire for Band Concerts
*Please shop early for concert attire. Concert attire teaches students how to dress appropriately for special events and performances. Please contact me if you need assistance obtaining concert attire.
HUBBARD BAND SHIRT (blue shirts purchased last year or this year, any sleeve length is fine. Order forms will be sent home in September)
BLACK BOTTOMS (dress pants or skirts, no athletic pants/leggings/shorts)
DRESS SHOES (any color, as long as they’re nice looking. No sneakers please)

Band Karate Program
Students are participating in Band Karate, a program developed to motivate students to practice regularly and accomplish musical goals with each song they master. They will complete 3 tasks per "belt" and earn their next colored belt when they master the 3rd task. Click the document below for the detailed info and song list.
